About
Perry Smith and Dick Hickock, two misfits who met in prison, agree to rob a farm in Kansas and coldly decide in advance to eliminate all witnesses. The robbery netted them only about forty dollars, but resulted in four murders. The two murderers flee to Mexico, but eventually return to the U.S., where they are captured on a tip-off. Five years after their trial, Smith and Hickock are put on the scaffold.
The score for the film was composed by Quincy Jones.
