New Orleans–born Branford Marsalis is an award-winning saxophonist, bandleader, soloist from the classic jazz quartet tradition and composer for film and Broadway. Marsalis’s appearance at the Festival is quite a thrill, as this three-time GRAMMY winner and National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master last visited in 2009.
