The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal (FIJM) is a true gem of our cultural industry. Its much-envied international reputation is a testament not only to its dynamism, but also to its outstanding vision.
That is why Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions and Canadian Heritage have renewed their support for this flagship summer event that has been bringing the city of festivals together to the beat of eclectic, enchanting, and unifying music for 43 years.
We hope that all those who have been fans from day one and festival-goers who have discovered the FIJM over the years will be transported once again by the rip-roaring improvisations and the unique energy that characterizes jazz, transcends cultures, and delights all audiences.

For the 43rd year, the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal will thrill the city with the extraordinary talent of artists from here and around the world.
The largest festival of its kind in the world, this major gathering is a source of pride for our community and helps position Montréal as a cultural metropolis and jazz capital on the world stage.
Thanks to its ever-evolving program, the Festival promotes artistic discovery and accessibility to culture. I am therefore very pleased that, once again this year, the city of Montréal is a partner in the festivities, and I thank all those who have contributed to their organization.

Every year, it’s a pleasure for Tourisme Montréal to support the Festival International de Jazz. The event gives the city an atmosphere and a je ne sais quoi that makes it so distinct in the eyes of our visitors. The Montréal summers would not be the same without the notes of jazz that resonate in the heart of the city at the end of June. Flagship events like the Jazz allow visitors to feel like a local for a brief moment.
